Terms of service.
By booking a service with Noir Detailing, you agree to the following terms. These ensure we can provide a high-quality finish and keep to our schedule.
Vehicle Preparation
Please ensure your vehicle is free of personal items (clothing, rubbish, work equipment) before we arrive. We will not clean the glovebox, centre console storage, or boot if they are full of personal belongings. Noir Detailing is not responsible for any items left in the vehicle.
Condition of Vehicle & Surcharges
Our standard prices (Packages 1 & 2) are based on a vehicle in "average" condition. If the vehicle has excessive dirt, heavy pet hair, mould, or bodily fluids, additional charges will apply to cover the extra time and chemicals required. We will always discuss this with you prior to starting the work.
Child Seats
For insurance and safety liability reasons, Noir Detailing does not uninstall or reinstall child car seats. If you wish for the upholstery underneath the seat to be cleaned, please remove the car seat prior to our arrival.
Cancellations
We respect your time, and we ask that you respect ours. Cancellations or rescheduling requests must be made at least 24 hours in advance. Cancellations made with less notice may incur a cancellation fee of 50% of the booking value.
Weather Conditions
As a mobile service in the UK, weather can be unpredictable. In the event of heavy rain, high winds, or freezing temperatures that prevent us from working safely or achieving a quality finish, we reserve the right to reschedule your booking to the next available slot.
Damage & Liability
While every care is taken, Noir Detailing will not be held liable for:
- Pre-existing damage (scratches, dents) that becomes visible after dirt is removed.
- Damage to loose trim, stuck windows, or faulty mechanics not disclosed prior to starting.
- Flat batteries (we may need doors open for extended periods; please ensure your battery is healthy).
Payment
Payment is due immediately upon completion of the work. We accept Cash or Bank Transfer. A card machine is also available; however, card machine fees will be added to the total.
